Job Description

Job Summary

  • You will be working in a highly visible customer environment
  • Usually working alone to carry out all aspects of maintenance such as carpentry, plumbing, painting & decorating.
  • Take responsibility for reporting on maintenance stock required and levels of existing for general duties
  • On occasion working as part of a small team away from B4 premises
    • Job Type / CategoryB4 is a high-quality car park in Birmingham city centre and we are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, reliable and hardworking individual to maintain the premises.
  • Earn £11.00 per hour
  • 5 days per week (40 hours) + overtime
  • Your core working hours will be 9am-6pm, Monday - Friday.
    • Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in carpentry, plumbing, painting/decorating (General Building Skills)
  • A good standard of spoken and written English
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Honesty and trustworthiness
  • Attention to detail and an awareness of what’s going on are critical
  • A calm person who thinks logically to problem solve and has the confidence to use their initiative and deal with unforeseen situations
  • A strong work ethic
  • A good level of fitness as this is a manual role
  • An adaptable and flexible approach along with a "can do" attitude is essential
  • Any existing Health and Safety qualifications an advantage
