£12.15 per hour + overtime premiums availableImmediate ongoing long term work 06:00-13:30/13:30 -21:00Seeking experienced production line assemblers and machine operatorsAre you looking for a long-term position with a starting rate of £12.15 per hour, with plenty of opportunities to work overtime We are recruiting for driven Automotive Assembly Operatives and Machine Operators to join a key automotive supplier, located inthe Central/North Birmingham area.This is a renowned global manufacturer, where you would be building wheel frames and components for a number of major automotive brands. They are a progressive, fast-paced factory, offering the potential for lots of overtime. All applicants for this role MUSThold at least 12 months experience as an Automotive Assembly Operative / Machine Operator in a previous role.In turn, the company will offer a starting rate of £12.15 per hour, with tiered overtime rates which range from time + one fifth to double time depending on number of hours completed.Working hours will run from 0600-1330/ 1330- 2100 rotating weekly (Monday to Friday).The company are looking to offer long-term positions within a dynamic, team-focussed automotive environment, with excellent amenities including a canteen and free public parking facilities. Candidates will also receive industry leading training within an automatedmanufacturing environment.In order to be successful Machine Operator, candidates must bring the following attributes:- Ability to use a range of hand tools (e.g. power drills, glue guns) and industrial equipment (e.g. pop rivet guns)- Proven background on a fast-paced automated track/ assembly line- Experienced with running machinery (e.g. presses, laser welders, CNC)- Ability to carry out the tasks expected of a Production Operative whilst meeting strict build targets)- Comfortable with working from basic technical drawings & having a keen eye for detail (quality inspection is a huge part of your initial role)- Understanding of automotive principles (e.g. 5s) would be advantageous but not essentialIf you feel that you hold relevant experience for our Automotive Production Operator role, please dont hesitate to click below to apply!
