Job Description

Logistics and Transport Administrator/ Customer Service / Immediate Start/ £11.50 Per HourWeekly Paid / MonFri 0900-1700/ Ongoing AssignmentPermanent OpportunitiesI am currently recruiting for a Logistics and Transport Administrator to support the Relocations Division for my nationally operating client.This is a vital and business critical role hat will suit somebody from a Logistics Administration or Customer Service background. Applicants should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and will ideally be available on an immediate basis and happy tocommit to a minimum 6 week assignment. There is every opportunity this position can become permanent for the right candidate. Reporting to the Operations Manager and Site Manager duties will include but not be limited to;

  • Data input for jobs/ transport
  • Booking suppliers / contractors as required
  • Offering an excellent level of Customer service when liaising with clients and drivers
  • Scanning of documents
  • Raising of quotes
  • Supporting colleagues with route and staffing planning
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar fast paced administrative/ Customer service role
  • Logistics/ transport sector experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high-volume environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft office and computerised system skills
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • A personable, approachable and friendly persona
  • Must be able to start on an immediate basis and be able to travel to B8
