Job Description

About The RoleTo help deliver our ambitious growth plans, we are now looking to recruit a Lifting Trainer who will be working nationally in one of the UKs leading hire equipment organisationKey Responsibilities;

  • Design and delivery of all lifting technical learning and development solutions in conjunction with the relevant subject matter experts and key stakeholders
  • Initial consultancy/diagnosis of technical training needs to ensure that training solutions are proactive and support the strategic direction of the business
  • Liaise with manufacturers and key stakeholders to organize and provide product training, awareness and maintenance.
  • Selecting and managing resources, including working with both internal employees and training providers to develop and deliver training
  • Maintaining an up to date training matrix for the training solutions provided and the individuals within the business
  • Ensuring strategic alignment to the business development team, training department and performance standards, with the company goals and strategy being at the centre of all key decisions
  • About The CandidateWhat you will need to bring to the role from day one:
  • Knowledge of learning and development best practices
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience of the lifting industry
  • Training Qualification and assessment qualifications (preferred)
  • LEEA trained
  • Min 3x LEEA Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of lifting equipment and LOLER regulations
  • Driving Licence
  • The lifting lead for our apprentices to ensure we deliver all training required, correctly monitoring and mentoring them throughout their apprenticeship life cycle
  • Overnight stays required
