Job Description

Lift service / repair Engineer to work throughout the West Midlands, Telford, Shropshire and Mid Wales region, offering an attractive salary package plus company vehicle.Whats on offer:

The ideal Lift Engineerwill have the following skills:
  • An excellent opportunity for an experienced lift engineer who is looking to develop their career and join an established family company
  • Minimum level NVQ3 or equivalent
  • Self-motivated, organised, be able to plan efficiently with the ambition to deliverthe continued growth and development of the company
  • Enthusiasm to lead and support other team members
  • Ideally experience on breakdowns, service, repairs and modernisation
  • Familiar with all current lift health and safety legislation including supplementary tests, risk assessments and method statements.
  • Understand the principals of electronic lift control systems, diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
  • Able to read and understand electronic, electrical and mechanical diagrams
  • Demonstrate excellent problem / fault finding skills on all types of passenger , pass / goods and platform lifts including group systems.
  • Prioritise and plan work schedule.
  • Work from your own initiative and part of a team under minimum supervision.
  • Be of smart appearance with excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Being very flexible / reliable and able to cope with a work load
  • Part of a 7 day 24 hour call out rota (1 in 4)
  • Work overtime and be willing to travel as and when required.
  • Current full clean driving licence.
The successful candidate will be maintaining and repairing lifts to a high standard in accordance with company procedures and be willing to do a 24-hour standby service which will include nights and weekends.The successful candidate may have a backgroundin the following areas; Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Electrical EngineerImportant:In the Covering Message box below, please include the following information:
