The development of internal legal technologist capabilities has led to the creation of a new opportunity for a Legal Technology Product Expert to identify and harness innovative ideas and solutions that will challenge the status quo and help streamline legal service delivery. As a 2:1/1st class Law, IT or Computer Sciences graduate with an understanding of legal service offerings and legal technology knowledge, your brief includes:•Working closely with lawyers to develop understanding of legal work & existing to advise & assist with the implementation of legal technology tools •Providing insights on legal market & technology trends and investigating new solutions & technologies to address challenges faced by lawyers •Supporting continuous improvement projects & designing new methods of delivery •Balancing client needs against corporate long-term strategic goals•Promoting the use of existing legal technologies to legal teams •Assisting in integration, configuration & customisation of existing solutions •Identifying requirements for new solutions •Supporting the introduction & embedding of new legal technologies •Delivering training, presentations & demonstrations to lawyers & clients •Assisting in preparation & deliver of pitches to clientsAs a 2:1/1st class Law, IT or Computer Sciences graduate, you will demonstrate experience of issue resolution and the design of innovative solutions, strong project management ability, and ideally previous legal (fee earning) or legal technology experience. Additionally, you will possess outstanding interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills, experience of and interest in new and emerging technologies including AI/machine learning, automation/RPA and collaboration platforms and preferably exposure to legal tech solutions such as Luminance, Kira, HighQ, Contract Express.Harcourt Matthews is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
