Stride Resource Management is currently recruiting aCommercial Litigation Solicitoron behalf of our client, who is looking to expand their team within the Property Legal market. This role can be worked on a hybrid basis, with travel intotheir Liverpool office twice a week. This role will suit a qualified Solicitor with good commercial property experience.Role: SolicitorSalary: up to £45,000 per annum + bonusLocation: Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester or LiverpoolDuration: PermanentThe role:This role operates within the Subrogation & Recovery Team.The scope of the role includes running a caseload of recovery claims whilst also supervising others.A great opportunity to work on a wide and diverse range of projects within an exciting and fast-moving sector.Predominantly working within a commercial property role with a focus on Property Litigation.The role is to be responsible for the handling of a mixed pre-litigation and litigated caseload of Claimant recoveries, including high-value and more complex claims, dealing with all aspects of litigation from pre-issue to trial.There will be supervision of junior fee earners authorising case plans and other work along with day-to-day inquiries.As necessary, the applicant may be required to undertake other duties including assisting the Team Leader and Partners.Experience required:Qualified Solicitor (SRA/Law Society Registered) or CILEX qualifiedThe role requires relevant litigation experience working in a legal environment, preferably within the insurance sector.Experience of Claimant and Defendant work preferredThe ability to work independently as well as part of a teamExcellent Verbal and Written communication skillsComfortable handling large workloads under time constraintsKey ResponsibilitiesDraft Court Proceedings/documentsAdhere to Court directions and deadlinesWork to set priorities, create clear plans, and manage work to meet Client needsEngage in effective negotiationManage a Litigation Caseload/Pre-litigation Case Load, with a view to driving claims to litigation or settlementDealing with litigated ClaimsMaintain management informationEnsuring that all case reserves are completed in accordance with the specific client’s reserving philosophyPerform legal and factual researchKeeping up to date with relevant legal documents and relevant Caselaw
