Are you looking for a Learning Mentor position at a dynamic SEN school in East BirminghamAn exciting Learning Mentor position has become available, working at a progressive, forward-thinking special school in the Birmingham ward of Erdington.*** Learning Mentor*** Ofsted Outstanding all-through school*** Long-term role, working full time*** Learning Mentor position, starting immediately*** £80 - £90 per dayThe Learning Mentor:To be eligible for this Learning Mentor position, you must hold a Level 3 Learning Mentor qualification and have extensive experience working with students with SEN. You should have a good understanding of a range of additional needs, such as Autism, ADHD,complex and multiple learning needs, communication difficulties, physical disabilities and more. It is important that you are a strong Learning Mentor with a good ability to build a strong rapport with the pupils you are working with.The Learning Mentor Role:As a Learning Mentor at this school, you will be supporting teaching and learning in the classroom, on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. As a Learning Mentor, you will be supporting in all subjects across the national curriculum, working with Key Stages 1 4. You should have a good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, including phonics and numeracy schemes.The School:This all-through special school based in East Birmingham caters for pupils aged 4-19 with a range of SEN.
