Job Description

Learning and development business partnerSalary: £45,000-50,000 per annum Contract Type: Full Time, PermanentLocation: Hybrid (with occasional travel in to London)Hours: 40 hours per weekThe Role:The role is a key interface to ensure the effective delivery of learning and OD initiatives.The post holder will play an important role in the provision of local learning and OD function point-of-contact services, and the execution of broader solutions in which to develop the operational efficiencies and people capabilities across the Supporting EducationGroup. The role holder will report to Group Learning & Development Director have a frequent interaction with a diverse stakeholder group, including learners, managers, senior leaders, and colleagues from Group People Centre.Key accountabilities:Learning & Development

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with companies and management teams
  • Design, delivery and facilitation of core development programmes and workshops
  • Design learning interventions, from scoping the need, to creating the content and materials needed - these will include various learning methods (e.g., blended learning programs, face-to-face, coaching, and mentoring programmes, job-shadowing, online training,digital resources, toolboxes for managers)
  • New starters, management development and high potentials
  • Developing and implementing seasonal learning initiatives and programmes
  • Development and management of digital learning resources, via the LMS
  • Help managers to develop their teams through coaching skills and skills-gap analysis
  • Assess and maintain the quality of learning facilitation
  • Create and maintain clear project plans
Performance Management
  • Implementation and management of performance management principles and processes
  • Evaluate learning outcomes to sustainable business metrics
Organisation Development
  • To apply knowledge, expertise, and continuous improvement to learning solutions
  • Supporting individuals, managers, and businesses to advance their skills, knowledge, and mindset, and driving organisational growth and success through learning
  • Review the success of development plans and help employees and businesses make the most of learning opportunities
Evaluation & Metrics
  • Evaluation of individual and business learning and development needs to defined business outcomes
  • Measuring the success and value of learning and initiatives to the learner and the business with agreed measurements
  • In commercial roles, link learning outcomes to measure the impact on productivity and gross profit
Who you are:
  • The roles would innovative individuals who are passionate about helping people learn and grow.
  • Current knowledge and a strong track record of effective learning and development methods from needs analysis through to design, implementation and evaluation
  • Inspiring and proactive individual who can create memorable and engaging learning experiences
  • Ability to advise, guide and influence managers as trusted advisor, and build rapport at all levels
  • Good knowledge and experience in onboarding, customer service and management development
  • Excellent facilitator of learning interventions (121, group, training, coaching)
  • Qualified to degree level, ideally in a business or social science discipline
  • Professional learning and development certification advantageous
  • Proven expertise in learning and organisational development, with strong business partnering skills
  • Experience of managing an LMS. And creating materials
  • Has worked in similar fast-moving environments in large SMEs
  • Experience of performance management process design and implementation
