An opportunity for Alzheimer’s Society to work across organisational and professional boundaries to facilitate the recruitment and care for patients in clinical trials.Reporting to the Associate Director of Research and Innovation you will collaborate closely with the Dementia Translational Research Collaboration coordinated through University College London, but you will also be expected to work with colleagues in fundraising,influencing and communications departments.You will work with the Alzheimers Society research nurses to publicise and promote the work of Alzheimer’s Society amongst patients, professionals, and the public. There will be a particularly strong connection with the Head of Involvement and the broaderwork of research participation.This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the way in helping deliver this unique work supporting our Help and Hope strategy. • We are seeking a passionate individual, with proven experience of nursing practice and clinical research.

• You will be a strong leader with a clear vision of how to guide and support your team to reach your objectives.
• An ability to develop and deliver a new research nurse network will be crucial, as will the ability to communicate across a range of stakeholders to maximise impact.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Work collaboratively and be able to prioritise your workload effectively and remain solution focussed throughout your areas of work.
• Strong interpersonal and interpretation skills will allow you to have open jargon-free conversations with the business.
• Excellent organisational and timekeeping skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Be a team player, supporting colleagues when there are deadlines, and who knows when to ask for help themselves.
• Be a self-starter and incredibly motivated.
