Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible.We are here for anyone affected by dementia to help them navigate some of the hardest and most frightening times of their lives.To help us achieve our far-reaching ambition to give help and hope to all, we are excited to appoint a Lead Research Nurse.This crucial new role will manage the Alzheimers Society national research nurse programme. An opportunity for Alzheimer’s Society to work across organisational and professional boundaries to facilitate the recruitment and care for patients in clinical trials.Reporting to the Associate Director of Research and Innovation you will collaborate closely with the Dementia Translational Research Collaboration coordinated through University College London, but you will also be expected to work with colleagues in fundraising,influencing and communications departments.You will work with the Alzheimers Society research nurses to publicise and promote the work of Alzheimer’s Society amongst patients, professionals, and the public. There will be a particularly strong connection with the Head of Involvement and the broaderwork of research participation.This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the way in helping deliver this unique work supporting our Help and Hope strategy.   • We are seeking a passionate individual, with proven experience of nursing practice and clinical research.

  • You will be a strong leader with a clear vision of how to guide and support your team to reach your objectives.
  • An ability to develop and deliver a new research nurse network will be crucial, as will the ability to communicate across a range of stakeholders to maximise impact.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
