Lead Power Transformer Engineer (Power Utilities)Based in or near any of the following: Walsall, Birmingham, Coventry, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Leicester, Worcester£40,000 - £55,000 + Progression to head of department + Training + Pension + Company VanAre you an installation engineer working in the power utilities industry Looking to move into a lead installation position, with further progression to head of department.Do you have a number of years experience installing and commissioning transformersThis company provides the leading independent HV and LV connections, transformer Installations and Maintenance Services. Through the specialised service they provide, there is a real emphasis to grow the workforce to match the demand. If you were to join thisfast growing business there will be further opportunities to move into a head of department role, therefore a great opportunity advance your career.In this role, you will work in the transformer division of the business, working with world renowned manufacturers of transformers. You will be working from drawings and specifications to coordinate, build, install and commission the power transformers distributedto the sites by the manufactures. You will be covering UK wide with stays aways varying in frequency, but back home on the weekends.The ideal candidate will have worked a number of years in the industry, working with CAT 3 cabling and have either prior leadership experience or looking to make the next step in there career. It would be desirable to have DNO authorisation, substation entryauthorisation and have an understanding of H&S requirements. A good computer literacy will also be preferred for carrying out reports, testing and diagnostics. In addition certifications in IPAF, SHEA Power and slinging and signaller will be beneficial.This is a great opportunity for someone to join an up and coming business with lots of opportunities for growth and development within the role and with the company.
