Lead Maintenance Engineer (DAYS)BirminghamCirca £41,000 + Overtime Opportunities (£50,000 Realistic OTE) + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Benefits8 Hour Shifts. Monday to FridayLead Maintenance Engineer required for a well established and well renowned manufacturer who supply to a range of industries and supply their products on a global scale. They offer a varied role within a great team environment.To apply for the role you must have previous experience as a lead maintenance engineer, leading hand, maintenance supervisor or maintenance team leader within a manufacturing environment. Applicants applying from heavier industries will have a considerableadvantage. Otherwise, mechanical engineers who are seeking the opportunity to step up with more responsibility are invited to apply.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a small maintenance team, leading on maintenance and engineering projects and being the point of contact for contractors on site. You will also get involved with hands on maintenanceactivities. Your work will be predominantly mechanically focused within a heavy industrial environment working on mill and foundry equipment. You will prioritise maintenance activities and allocation of labour and work to strict H&S guidelines.
