They have already started to expand internationally in the US and EU.About the role as our Lead Data Engineer:Grantify is looking for an experienced data engineer to join their team.You will use various methods to collect and transform raw data into useful data systems.Overall, youll strive for efficiency by aligning data systems with business goals. You will also look to be doing the following:

  • Collect, analyse and organise raw data from various sources
  • Build data systems, dashboards and pipelines
  • Interpret trends and patterns
  • Conduct complex data analysis and report on results
  • Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition
About you as the new Lead Data Engineer:
  • Familiar with Tableau or any data visualisation tool
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Understanding of BigQuery or other data warehouse solutions (AWS)
  • Experience with webhooks or API integration with third-party tools
  • Familiar with cloud systems such as GCP or AWS
  • Github - versioning system
  • Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
  • Technical expertise in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Javascript or Python)
  • Hands-on experience with SQL database design
  • Familiar with mixpanel is a plus
  • Data engineering certification or formal education is a plus
