Laboratory Manager Birmingham £40-44k DOE plus bonus upto 5%My client, a successful Drinks company, based in Birmingham is looking to recruit a Laboratory Manager to join their growing business. The Lab manager role has become available due to an internal move and the successful candidate will report directly intothe manufacturing director. The Laboratory operates 24hrs however the Lab Manager role is a Monday- Friday Day based role and your primary focus will be to ensure that the laboratory runs smoothly, achieves business objectives, with world class efficiencyensuring the a right first time culture and attitude. Ensuring that the lab supervisors and technicians are also been managed and developed will also play a key part in this role. This role is a Food / Drinks Laboratory role based in a manufacturing company.The successful Laboratory: Must have previous FMCG Lab management experience Food / Drink / pharmaceutical manufacturing experience Must be flexible and willing to go the extra mile Ideally have cider, beer or soft drink experience BRC knowledge Excellent IT skillsThis role offers an excellent salary plus bonus of upto 5% and holidays 25days plus BHThis role will suit a candidate that has previously worked as a Lab supervisor, Laboratory Manager, Quality Manager, Food Microbiology
