Job Description

If have experience in Kitchen sales, and you want to knowwhat its like to work for a top employer that is working hard to make the world a better home; then please read on to find out more about this exciting opportunity to join us as a Kitchen Business Development Manager.Youll be working with our brand Jewson, The UKs leading chain of builders merchants.In the role you will manage and grow the sales of the Midlands geographical region in terms of direct selling to developers, sales gained via sales personnel attached to specific branches and also the protection and development of socialhousing contracts.Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve agreed budgeted sales and margin targets for allocated region
  • Establish regular contact with trading accounts and build awareness of the threats and opportunities. Also promote other Jewson businesses as appropriate
  • To effectively communicate and coordinate account information with the Jewson management teams
  • Gain support from Jewson management team and internal functions to support growth initiatives
  • Ensure all aspects of our offer are regularly reviewed to ensure our offer is both competitive and maintaining the appropriate level of profitability

  • A Senior Sales person competent and confident to make presentations and negotiate at all levels
  • A background within the kitchen sector
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Rounded commercial/business skills
  • Ensure that the customers pay to terms in line with the negotiated Commercial agreements
  • Provide the Divisional Director with monthly and weekly reports and ad hoc reports on request in a timely fashion
  • Work to a set of personal objectives set by your manager and your personal development plan
