Job Description

Key Account ManagerAre you an experienced Sales professional with a background in the Critical Power Sector Want to work for a rapidly growing business with exciting plans for development and personal growth opportunities Want to earn up to 50% of your basic salary as bonusWhats on offer

  • 40-hour standard working week.
  • Remote working - travelling out to meetings/visits when required.
  • 50-60k depending on experience.

The brief:The key objective of the Key Account Manager is to grow incremental and new sales for the business to new and existing customers. Working with project and sales teams to interpret customer requirements and deliver solutions with the end-goal of sales. Youwill act as a key client lead, building consultative relationships that will require you to incorporate your own strategic thinking, becoming the generator and leading focal point of new opportunities.Key responsibilities:
  • Account management - managing existing business alongside the Sales team. Including maintaining and developing customers and identifying and mapping their needs.
  • Preparing and negotiating offers and contracts and managing sales price adjustments.
  • Planning budgets, sales volume, values, product mix and time scales.
  • Preparing written blogs for web marketing.
  • Attending and presenting at campaigns and key trade shows
  • Travelling to customer meetings to build strong relationship.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting, forecasting and sales analysis.
  • Planning by account to maximise all sales opportunities.
What you will need to succeed:
  • Proven sales experience at a high level
  • Knowledge of Rental Loadbanks both LV and MW, Generators, UPS, Transformers, Heat load testing, Fuel and emissions and Project Management. - training will be provided where required.
  • Be able to work alone, self-motivated, flexible, proactive, and committed with good time management skills.
  • Be an effective team player when working with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output.
  • Good strong Leadership skills with some Management Experience.
  • Good problem solving - skills and logical approach.
  • Good understanding of client expectations and the impact of failure/costs.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage tasks effectively.
