This is a specialist role helping ex-offenders reintegrate back into society by helping them progress towards Education, Training, and Employment You will be supporting ex-offenders to rehabilitate in a unique environment. This is a brand-new project, designed with a cool caf vibe approach, pool tables, table hockey, arts and crafts sessions going on. Each ex-offender gets access to the local gym. Withweekly events going on to get involved with. The place has a real buzz about it.Leaving prison and going back to the outside world can be intimidating. So, this project has been set up to ease the transition, so ex-offenders have a friendly place to go to. Acting as their support specialist, you will be responsible for onboarding new peopleto the project and delivering their first induction session. This will involve an assessment and action plan and linking them up the programmes delivered at the project, as well as signposting them to other services such as housing, budgeting, and benefitsupport. You will hold regular one to one sessions with your clients to provide any support they need that can assist them to rehabilitate.To apply you must either be a criminology graduate with some voluntary exp working with ex-offenders or recruitment, support work type experience.
