Job Description

Jigging Assembly Operative / Aston / Temp to Perm / £10.40 per hourWe are currently recruiting for a Jigging Assembly Operative to join a world leading surface engineering and heat treatment specialist located in the Aston area of Birmingham.You will be responsible for assembling pre-made jigs with automotive components.Duties for this role include;

  • Assembling of pre-made jigs with automotive components
  • Visual checking and inspection of the products
  • Packing, and general warehouse duties
  • Operating machinery to "blast clean" components
  • Other workshop duties as and when required
You will need to have experience within a fast paced, pressurised, manufacturing company, working within assembly. If you have similar experience within an automotive company that will be greatly beneficial to your application, though any pressurised assemblyposition will be considered.The role is a temp to perm contract with permanent positions available after completion of a 13 week probationary period.You will be working on the following shift pattern;Rotating mornings and nights - 6am - 2pm / 10pm - 6am, paying £10.40 across both shiftsIf you think this role is right for yourself then APPLY NOW!ASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
