Job Description

Jigging Assembly Operative / Aston / Temp to Perm / £8.21 per hourWe are currently recruiting for a Jigging Assembly Operative to join a world leading surface engineering and heat treatment specialist located in the Aston are of Birmingham.You will be responsible for assembling pre made jigs with automotive components.Duties for this role include;

  • Assembling of pre made jigs with automotive components
  • Visual checking and inspection of the products
  • Packing, and general warehouse duties
  • Operating machinery to "blast clean" components
  • Other workshop duties as and when required
    • You will need to have experience within a fast paced, pressurised, manufacturing company, working within assembly. If you have similar experience within an automotive company that will be greatly beneficial to your application, though any pressurised assembly position will be considered.The role is a temp to perm contract with permanent positions available after completion of a 13 week probationary period.You will be working on straight days for a couple of weeks initially of 8am - 4pm, starting on £8.21 per hour.Once you have settled in you will move on to a two shift pattern. This will either be 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm rotating weekly, or 6am - 2pm / 10pm - 6am, paying £9.58 per hour.If you think this Jigging Assembly Operative role is right for yourself then APPLY NOW!
