Not only do we have our own dedicated trainer, but youll also have the opportunity to broaden your skillset by working with our talented team of Senior and Master Jewellers.Our Traineeship!Our Birmingham Service Centre located on the edge of the Jewellery Quarter is the largest single site Jewellery and Watch Repair functions in the UK. Were now looking to recruit 6 Jewellery Graduates (or similar) to join our friendly and successful team.As a paid Trainee, youll undertake 6 months of dedicated training with our Head Jewellery Coach and talented Jewellers, followed by 2 months of working on our Customers live repairs. In total this is an 8-month, full time, paid contract. At the end of theTraineeship, we will then offer you a bench test to see if you are ready for a permanent position as a Bench Jeweller here at Signet.As a Trainee youll get to work with beautiful pieces, learn from our talented team and help delight our Customers with your craftsmanship. Our course will cover the following:

• How to use machinery and tooling effectively and confidently in a workshop environment
• How to adjust & alter rings, necklets & bracelets across all precious metals
• How to solder items effectively and confidently using tried and tested techniques
• How to file and buff effectively and using different compounds and mops to apply the very best final finish to a customers item techniques
• How to Rhodium plate items to bring back that original lustre
• A detailed understanding of repair types across all the major precious metals

Are you the perfect Gem

• Completed or Graduated from a Jewellery or Repairs Course (or similar)
• You may have gained some limited industry experience and are looking to build on this further
