Job Description

Our client, based in the West Midlands, is currently recruiting for an IT Systems Analyst on a temporary contract for two to three months.The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The daily rate is £150 - £165 per day based on experience for this position.The ideal candidate will have a Computer Science Degree or equivalent knowledge gained from previous work experience.Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Assist in providing reports to the business using SSRS and a combination of SQL and SSAS data sources
  • Run accurate and timely standard and ad hoc reports
  • Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion
  • Report writing in line with business requests
  • Maintenance of existing integration between systems.
  • Produce documentation for systems and processes
  • Provide technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
  • Answering system related support queries from end users
  • System configuration changes in line with changing business needs
  • Support end users by helping them to get the best out of our IT systems
  • Dealing with technical issues associated with the commercial software systems we use
  • Create web based applications to remove any gaps within our IT systems
    • Experience required:
  • Ability to use SSRS and SSAS data sources
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Fundamentals of software design
  • Experience writing reports
  • Previous Public Sector
  • Expert in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing
  • Good understanding of SQL, specifically MSSQL
    • Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
  • Compliance and due diligence
  • Experience working with: C#, Javascript, JASON, SSAS, MDX, SSIS, Xamarin
  • Problem solving ability
  • Ability to take the initiative
  • Team player
  • Good communication skills

    • Working hours:
  • 35 hours per week
