Job Description

IT Service manager - Birmingham Salary upto £59,300Hybrid workingIT Senior Service Architect required for a leading client based in Birmingham. My client is currently seeking a IT Service Manager to come on board to take charge of crafting the IT service framework for clients, strategically implementing live and accessibleservices to meet business requirements. In this role, youll oversee the architecture of the service domain, ensuring that delivery aligns with enterprise-wide standards and policies.Key skills,

  • Strong IT Service Management experience
  • ServiceNow knowledge
  • Familiarity with service architecture frameworks and best practices, along with a solid understanding of various delivery methodologies such as waterfall, agile, or lean, and their impact on service architecture.
  • Supplier Management experience
  • SLA Management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the technology service provider landscape, identifying opportunities for collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Formulate and execute organization-wide service architecture policies, patterns, processes, and guardrails to integrate the strategic deployment of live and accessible IT services throughout the organisation.
  • Set up and oversee the Service Architecture practice and capabilities, spearheading initiatives for knowledge sharing, skills development, and ensuring consistency throughout the organization.
  • Take the lead in defining and advancing Service Architecture frameworks that align with the broader enterprise-wide architecture.
  • Strategize and guide scoping, requirements definition, and prioritization for service architecture activities within Infrastructure & Operations.
  • Drive the design of IT services in collaboration with SLT and other crucial stakeholders.
  • Well-versed in digital information technology trends and the potential they offer.
  • Proven experience in leading a service architecture pillar, providing technical oversight, and steering architecture development.
  • Demonstrated success in applying service architecture methods to navigate complex scenarios. Track record of overseeing service delivery in intricate, multi-vendor environments.
  • Extensive experience in collaborating with and managing suppliers and vendors, particularly in a multi-vendor setting.
