Job Description

IT Security Architect - Global Document Management SystemOur leading law firm client are looking to recruit a IT Security Architect - Global Document Management System to deliver a challenging programme to replace disparate document management systems with one global SaaS based solution.Representing the Information Security Team, the Security Architect will report to the Program Manager, with a secondary reporting line to the Security Architect, and will be responsible for the secure design, implementation and ongoing management and continuous improvement of the SaaS application. The Security Architect will be expected to coach and support team members in fully understanding, utilising and complying with the agreed controls and processes, and to ensure security best practices are followed and delivered as part of the GDMS platform.As the Program evolves from design into preparing for user deployment and transition to service, the Security Architect role will also provide support to the global deployment and service readiness activities.Key responsibilities for this IT Security Architect - Global Document Management System are:

  • Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates.
  • Delivers the Security High Level design for the GDMS platform
  • Ensures compliance of the GDMS platform with Information Security guidelines, including networks, systems integrations, system administration, vendor data centre services and operations.
  • Ensures Information Security review and sign off to the GDMS platform prior to service go-live.
    • To be considered for this IT Security Architect - Global Document Management System, SaaS opportunity you must meet this criteria:
  • Have a strong understanding of software delivery life cycle, including project initiation, mobilizing resources in a matrix environment, business stakeholder engagement, requirements analysis, transition to service delivery, etc.
  • Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance and reliability
  • Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security
  • Extensive experience in CIS guidelines
  • Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions
  • Experience implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management or related technologies
  • Experience in supporting business transformation projects and programs
  • Experience in supporting projects and programs with a large user deployment/migration element
  • A Bachelors or Associates degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Advanced IT security certifications may be advantageous.
  • 5-10 years experience in information security and IT risk management.
  • A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs.
  • The ability to interact with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and races.
  • Excellent teaching, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
