Job Description

An exciting role has arisen for a Product Services Engineer to join a progressive and innovative professional services based in the heart of Birmingham’s Business District.The Product Services team is responsible for managing service requests to bespoke our document automation and workflow products (and other products utilising our digital business platform that may be added from time to time) for particular clients and use cases and maintaining such configurations once implemented.This is a hands-on technical role and the ideal candidate will be highly proficient in the use of IT and have an interest in developing their technical skills further.What does your role include:

  • Configuring Products using the clients technical capabilities (including but not limited to Contract Express, Matter Management (part of the firms digital platform) and HighQ).
  • Training those that will use the Products in how to use the systems and follow best practice.
  • Assisting in the creation, documentation and implementation of processes for servicing product requests within the Product Services team (working with the Product Services team lead).
  • Building relationships between the Product Services team and those that interact with it including the Document Review Services team, the Portal Services team, the Product Engineering team, Head of Product, Group Product Managers, Product Owners, Client Consulting and fee earners.
  • Suggesting ideas for continually improving the effectiveness of the Product Services team.
  • Assisting with projects such as software upgrades relating to the Products.
    • Relevant Experience:
  • Previous experience of document assembly software (particularly Contract Express, Thomson Reuters) is desirable as is fluency in languages spoken in any of our international offices.
  • Experience of SharePoint, Sharepoint Online and HighQ Collaborate is desirable.
  • Knowledge of any logic-based technology is desirable.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to use logic to solve complex problems are important attributes.
  • Candidates should also have a good knowledge of the current challenges facing the legal market.
