Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an IT Procurement Specialist to join a well-known and well-loved retail and ecommerce business. Along with a salary of £40,000 per annum, you will also receive a bonus of up to 20%, private medical and dental, and a tastyemployee discount.You’ll have the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere within the UK, however, supplier meetings (London) and head office (Milton Keynes) working will be required roughly once a fortnight.As IT Procurement Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading end-to-end contract management processes, from engagement to sign-off.
  • Taking responsibility for procurement processes and onboarding of suppliers.
  • Leading Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and tender processes for IT services.
  • Ensuring supplier performance management and service delivery meet expectations.
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining supplier scorecards to monitor performance.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Conducting supplier assessments and monitor performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Sourcing products and implement supply chain opportunities for IT hardware.
  • Utilising trend and market analysis to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborating with Project Managers, legal, the Leadership team, and stakeholders to build strong relationships.
We are looking for an IT Procurement Specialist who has the following skills and experience:
  • Procurement experience within IT functions infrastructure, security, software, and/or service delivery.
  • Some demonstrable experience in contract management and IT procurement/category management.
  • Proven success in implementing and managing procurement projects using industry-level methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management.
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and process driven.
  • Ability to work independently and lead working teams through the process.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders.
