Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Change and Problem Manager to join a dynamic technology team. The role is based in Birmingham and is part of a global company.

  • Competitive salary ranging from £45,000 - £50,000 per year

The Role:The IT Change and Problem Manager will be responsible for:
  • Owning and championing the change and problem management processes
  • Coordinating and influencing the outputs of the Change Advisory Board
  • Assisting in the progression and related communication of Change Requests and Release packages
  • Developing, coordinating and promoting the effective functioning of problem management activities across support teams within IT Services
  • Ability to take a relatively mature support function to the next level.
  • Ensuring Change Management Process is kept up to date, relevant and in line with best practice
The Candidate:The ideal candidate will have:
  • Over 5 years of experience working with Change and Problem Management within an ITIL framework
  • In-depth knowledge of Change and Problem management processes and approaches
  • Experience with reporting and configuration of an ITSM tool
  • Strong analysis skills and an innovative approach to problem solving
  • A broad technical knowledge of the key functions within IT
  • Ability to produce high quality documentation
