An automotive component manufacturer with multiple sites in the UK and the West Midlands require an IT Business Analyst to be responsible for maintaining the system hardware for the IBM iSeries and System 21 ERP system. Commutable from: Redditch, Coventry, Birmingham, Warwick, Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa, Worcester, Kidderminster, StourbridgePackage: £30,000 - £40,000 p.a. +Pension +Free Parking Suitable for: Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, IT Support Analyst, IT Support Technician, IT AnalystThe Role Reporting to the Senior IT Business Analyst you will have the following duties: -Daily monitoring of IBM iSeries hardware including tape drives and tape rotation. -Monitoring daily communications and EDI transfers with both customers and suppliers.-Adhoc support and training to System 21 users. -Occasional use of database tools such as SQL and DFU if required. -Manage and maintain an active directory for all user accounts. The Person Educated to degree level you will hold the following experiences:-Mathematical aptitude and strong problem solving skills.-Extensive work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment and preferably automotive. -Experience with System 21 (or Aurora) knowledge or similar ERP software systems such as BPCS / QAD / SAP -Experience of IBM iSeries and AS400 hardware platforms. -Material planning experience.To apply for this opportunity please click to apply or contact Greg Kneuss at the Ethero office in Telford for further details.
