Job Description

1st Line Service Desk Engineer (Remote) Contract Type: 3 Months Inside IR351st Line Service Desk Engineer to join our team on a remote basis. As a Service Desk Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to over 500 users across our organisation, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.The ideal candidate should have experience using Service Now, as well as knowledge of building laptops and using Active Directory. Additionally, experience with VM Ware is desired but not essential. Responsibilities:

  • Respond to user queries and support requests in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
  • Escalate issues to 2nd line support or other teams when required
  • Ensure service level agreements are met
  • Maintain accurate records of all incidents and requests
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a 1ST line support role
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT hardware, software, and network connectivity
  • Knowledge of Service Now
  • Experience in building laptops and using Active Directory
  • Experience with VM Ware (desired but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
