Our client is one of Europes leading distribution companies with business interests in three main areas; Mail, Parcels and Logistics. They are an Express parcels carrier with a reputation for innovation in delivery processes dealing with the delivery of small to medium sized parcels and documents.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an INTERNATIONAL IMPORT COORDINATOR based out of our clients busy site in Birmingham.Main Purpose of Position is to deliver operation and service support relating to all import matters, making recommendations to the International Import Manager and Road and Head of International Services. You will liaise with the UK Network and central services to ensure proactive resolution of all operational and service issues, as well as ensuring all information, reports and records are maintained. Using operational knowledge, you will provide insight to International Import Manager, proposing recommendations to improve service performance and the inbound offering.Core Skills Required Competent skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word is essential Excellent problem solving skills using data manipulation techniques Have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and plan workloads Ability to communicate at all levels Flexibility and a positive approach to change Have a professional attitude and be a good team player Successful candidates will need to have experience in the followingImport and/or Export operationsCustoms clearanceIT proficiencyExperience in Customs entries, Descartes E Customs systems, CNS/Destin8Knowledge of CDSExperience in various procedures, IPR/OPR/warehousing Required skills
