Internal Sales Executive - Architectural IronmongeryJob Title: Internal Sales Executive - Architectural IronmongeryIndustry Sector: Architectural Ironmongery, Handrails, Balustrades, Accessibility products, Door Closers, Hinges, Automatic Doors, Access Control, Door Hardware, Ironmongery, Locks, Washrooms, Door hardware, DoorsetsWill be based: Birmingham (within commuting distance)Remuneration: £22,000 - £25,000 + £3k - £6k Bonus UncappedThe role of the Internal Sales Executive - Architectural Ironmongery will involve:

  • Internal Sales Executive selling a comprehensive range of manufactured high end architectural ironmongery
  • Most of your time will be spent dealing with inbound queries, the team deal with 50+ inbound calls per day
  • Account management of existing companies on the database aiming to get repeat business
  • Making in excess of 30 dialog outbound calls per week trying to get new business
  • Deploying a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for meeting the requirements of the role
  • Key performance indicators will be based upon; response time to queries, conversation rates on queries and conversation rates on new quotes
  • Prioritising issues base upon business impact
  • Targeted to achieve an annual margin of £230,000
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Executive - Architectural Ironmongery with:
  • Demonstrable track record in sales of architectural ironmongery, door hardware or associated ironmongery products
  • Would also accept a candidate with 2 years sales experience within building construction or manufacturing market sectors
  • The ability to work under pressure and to timescales when required
  • Confident on the phone, providing good customer service
  • Team player with a positive outlook
  • Must be commercially aware and cost focused
  • IT & PC literate and a competent MS Office user
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Results driven
