Job Description

Robertson Bell are excited to be supporting a rapidly growing property development and management organisation, with offices based across England, to recruit an interim Capital Reporting Accountant on an initial six month contract.This is not your average fixed asset accounting role, as it offers plenty of opportunity to engage with internal and external stakeholders in position which rwuires a forensic approach to accounting.Key responsibilities of the interim Capital Reporting Accountant include:

  • Mainitaining the organisations extensive fixed asset register, monitoring depreciating assets and making disposals where neeeded.
  • Undertaking due dilligence of prospective assets, validating value and identifying any potential risks before tranitioning them into the organisation management.
  • Working with new clients to explain the benefits and implications of my clients services, as well as understanding the financial impact of any agreements.
  • Producing monthly reports for senior management to document the position of the organisations assets.
The successful candidate will:
  • Have extensive fixed asset accounting experience, ideally within the property sector, and be familiar with validating asset value.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to engage seamlessly with financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and an analytical approach to work.
  • Be a part, or fully, qualified accountant. Candidates who are QBE may also be considered.
