Job Description

Intelligence Analyst6 monthsBirminghamIR35: in scope£14.38/hr PAYE, £19.40/hr umbrella SC Clearance is ESSENTIALAdvantage Resourcing are currently recruiting for a number of Intelligence Analyst to join a Government department client of ours in Birmingham/ Warrington & London.Role summary

  1. Conduct complex and wide ranging analysis in support of our clients identified priorities in the fight to cut serious and organised crime.
  2. Conduct cross-source data exploitation and make recommendations to support the proactive and reactive development of intelligence, to gain new insights into criminal activity and understand our impact on the threat presented by serious and organised crime.
Key Responsibilities of Intelligence Analyst
  1. Evaluate and assess intelligence, data and information gathered from multiple sources, understanding the availability and suitability of each source;
  2. Carry out analysis in support of law enforcement objectives, using appropriate tools, techniques and systems;
Key skills
  1. Basic understanding of the use of Intelligence by Law Enforcement/Government.
  2. Knowledge of intelligence analysis methods and techniques.
  3. Knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. CPIA/ECHR) and its Impact on the role and Agency enforcement/government activity.
