Intelligence AnalystOur client are looking to hire 10 experienced Intelligence Analysts to support them in their efforts to combat organised crime. This is a 6 month contract position that will pay £25,000 - £27,000 Pro Rata and based in Birmingham.About UsWe are one of the leading public sector bodies that are responsible for keeping our country and community safe. Our operations ensure that our police services have the information and data they require to perform their jobs to the best of their ability.What will you doThe main responsibilities for Intelligence Analyst are:• You will conduct complex and technical analysis from a range of sources to support our combined efforts against organised crime• You will carry out analysis of law enforcement objectives using a variety of tools, techniques and systems• You will identify patterns, relationships, threats, trends and make deductions and develop recommendations based on the information you have available• You will present your analysis to inform our tactical and strategic decisionsAbout youThe main skills and experience required of the Intelligence Analysts are:• You will need to be IPP Accredited or have achieved a comparable qualification• NIAT qualified• You will need to be able to use intelligence analysis methods and techniques• You will need knowledge of relevant legislation such as CPIA and ECHR.• Skills in researching and gathering information from different sourcesWhat NextIf you would like to be considered for the Intelligence Analysis position please send in your CV and we will be in touch with you shortly.
