Job Description

Position OverviewWe are recruiting an Insurance Data Technician to join our Claims Handling team in Birmingham. The role will suit someone who enjoys maintaining/manipulating data and has a strong eye for detail. At the moment the role is home based but in the longer term you will be based in our Birmingham, Church St office.What can you expect

  • The role is focused on the handling of bordereaux and bordereaux claims following them from advice to collection and settlement.
  • You will follow the claims through the workflows using/updating tracking spreadsheets so that we can update clients and manage their expectations with.
  • There will be a lot of interaction with colleagues in Mumbai, London and of course Birmingham.
  • You will be part of a small specialist team so this is a great opportunity to get involved with a growing team and help develop the shape of it for the future.

  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical and conscientious approach.
  • Strong proven Excel skills - Please provide details of your excel skills when applying
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications and adaptability to become competent in all relevant Marsh business systems.
