An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Installation Engineer who is prepared to muck in, to join a leading manufacturer of gates and access systems.Based from Birmingham, you will spend some time at the factory helping to design and programme the systems.Most of the installation sites are within a 2 hour commute though you may have to stay away from time to time.The Role:As an Installation Engineer you will:* Design and install the control panels and gates for access systems* Then go to site to install and commission them* Repair and maintain too.* Serve a diverse clientele across domestic, commercial, and industrial sectorsThe Candidate:The ideal person for the Installation Engineer will…….* Possesses robust electrical and mechanical design and fitting skills* Be willing to contribute to all aspects of the job with a hands-on approach* Be flexible with travel requirements and overnight stays* Have excellent customer service and communication abilities* Have a valid driving licenceThe Package:The Installation Engineer will receive a salary of circa £40,000, supplemented by on-call and overtime pay.
