Job Description

Injection Mould Setter

  • Permanent
  • North Birmingham
  • 6:15am – 2:15pm, 2:15pm – 10:15pm rotating weekly (Monday – Friday)
  • Salary flexible depending on experience
    • I am currently looking for an experienced Injection Mould Setter for a business in North Birmingham. As an Injection Mould Setter, you will be working on Injection Moulding machines up to 1700 tonnes. This role will require you to be an end to end specialist in the process from setting tools & conditions, to machine optimisation and quality control. Duties and responsibilities as an Injection Mould Setter:
  • Performing tool changes
  • Setting machine conditions
  • Process optimisation
  • Material Changes
  • Colour changes
  • Fault-finding and troubleshooting
    • Experience/Qualifications required:
  • Working on medium and large injection moulding machines
  • Troubleshooting and rectification
  • Careful and considered approach to moulding
  • Previous exposure to the automotive industry will be valuable
  • Any industry based qualifications such as BPTA, IMT or NVQ will be a distinct advantage
