Hybrid: Birmingham/HomeMostly home working with a couple of days per month in the office.Innovative client in the field of sustainable energy requires an Infrastructure & Network Engineer with experience in modern, cloud technologies including AWS and Office 365.The role of the engineer is to help design, build and maintain infrastructure and end user compute platforms to support key business applications and processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an impressive company who are focused on reducing thecarbon footprint to help save the environment and limit climate change.Responsibilities include: Build, configuration and ongoing support of IT Infrastructure platforms including network, servers, storage, end user compute and security solutions Working closely with the IT Architecture functions to assist in the design of secure, robust, scalable and high performing IT infrastructure and network platforms The creation and maintenance of technical documentation to support project delivery and the ongoing operation of BAU infrastructure services. Effective monitoring of infrastructure and network services to ensure business systems availability and performance Dealing with infrastructure and network support tickets ensuring timely resolution in line with agreed SLA Be the subject matter expert for infrastructure platforms and technologies Maintain a good level of technical awareness of IT industry developments, infrastructure technology standards and best practice guidelinesRequired skills include: Azure/AWS build and administration experience (IaaS, PaaS, containerisation) Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online; OneDrive; Teams; Sharepoint Online) Microsoft 365 Defender Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) Azure AD configuration and administration Cisco Networking - LAN Switching, WLAN (Meraki), Cisco ISE Firewall administration Microsoft Windows Server (build, configure and administration) Linux OS (build, configure and administration) Scripting in PowerShell VMWare (build, configure and administration) Windows AutopilotPlease apply now with your latest CV for immediate consideration.
