Job Description

Infrastructure AnalystRemote worker£35,000The Optionis Group is one of the UK’s most successful professional services companies and we are currently looking for an enthusiastic Infrastructure Analyst to join our growing and forward-thinking IT department.This is an excellent opportunity to work with some exciting technologies and play a part in upcoming projects relating to the refresh of technology within an industry leaderResponsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

  • Management and support of all key infrastructure elements.
  • Ownership and resolution of escalations from all areas of the IT Operations team.
  • Mentoring of Junior members of the IT operations team.
  • Patching and security management.
  • Maintenance and management of Active Directory.
  • Maintenance and management of the full Office 365 suite.
  • AV and Web Filtering.
  • Infrastructure hardware maintenance.
  • Documentation and housekeeping.
  • Out of hours support through an on-call rotation covering 247/ 365.
    • The ideal candidate will have experience of:
  • Cloud management, Azure, AWS
  • LAN, WAN, Wireless, DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP
  • Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop
  • Experience with virtualisation, Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware Vsphere.
  • Windows Server
  • Active Directory Administration
  • Exchange online, 365, EMS
  • ITIL environments
