About the companyInformation Manager - A FTC 12 month job opportunity is currently available for an Information Manager to join an existing central Library and Information service team, based within a leading law firm. This role can be based at the firm’s UK wide offices witha choice of locations, with a remote working pattern in place.What you’ll be doingThis is a varied information role, with a range of job responsibilities, including leading the delivery and client account management, answering higher level legal research requests, provision of regular current awareness and know how to clients, training forclients on maximizing their information resources, and financial reporting and budget management. It is also actively promoting the service to end users/key stakeholders and senior management.Who you areThe job requirements ideally include a Library and Information qualification and a passion for information and research. It is highly desirable that you have 6 years’ relevant experience in a research or information service. Ideally this will have been gainedfrom another law firm or another professional services firm.
