Job Description

Would you describe yourself as someone who thinks on their feet and loves handling a high volume of work supporting Financial PlannersWould you like to use and develop your experience of working for an IFA and ideally pensions (!) if such an individual exists The team would be just as happy with experience of working within a private client or investment team as well!Do you like using your positive personality to engage with clients and colleaguesIf so our friendly bunch in Birmingham want to hear more about you and your skills. The team are outgoing and looking for someone with personality who has recently worked in an IFA environment. You understand what working under pressure is like (!) but want to do this in a team that promotes collaboration, supports and recognises your hard work and personal contribution.If the above appeals you are a step closer to working with a team who rely on their Associates and their organisational skills to support busy Financial Planners who need their time managed and clients nurtured. Delivering 5* customer service comes naturally to you as does being on the phone!Duties will include:

  • Managing production of meetings packs for the private client team
  • Overseeing meeting rooms and diaries
  • Being a point of contact for queries, taking ownership of resolving where possible but knowing the right time to escalate
  • Assisting with reporting, including valuations
  • You know your way around Microsoft Office and ideally Xplan.You would be encouraged to show your initiative and propose ideas for improvement as well as use your judgement to problem solve.
