Job Description

HSE Manager Are you a HSE Manager / Health and Safety Manager / ESH Manager looking for an exciting new role working for a leading global organisation that can offer continued career developmentAs the HSE Manager / Health & Safety Manager you will have the responsibility of supporting the HSE resource to implement the companys global safety strategy, regulatory compliance, and industry best practice across the companys sites in UK and Ireland.If you are a HSE Manager / ESH Manager with international HSE, regulatory and transportation experience this will be a massive advantage.If you join this leading specialist importer, distributor, and manufacturer of specialist products for the Automotive aftermarket sector, you will be an essential part of the senior management team and benefit from a great hybrid / remote working environment, support from senior management team, structured career development and the knowledge you are working for a business that values its people.Salary - Circa £60K plus Bonus (20% of basic), Company Car / Car Allowance, Pension, 25 days Annual Leave (inc BH 32 days total leave)Location: UK - Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Swindon, MaidstoneRole / Person:

  • Experienced HSE Manager / ESH Manager / Health & Safety Manager.
  • Experience with ISO Standard management system implementation, audit oversight and coordination for ISO 14001, 45001, 5001 or 9001.
  • Ideally have a working knowledge of ADR or equivalent international over-the-road transportation regulations and requirements.
  • Be experienced in the improvement of the organisations safety culture.
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft applications and use of metrics to produce KPIs.
  • Have excellent understanding, through previous experience, of all aspects of Health, Safety & Environment (including legislation, audit handling and management systems.
  • Ideally have and utilise 5-Why and Fishbone Incident Investigation methodology.
  • Ideally experienced user of HSE management software, such as Intelex.
  • Be a strategic thinker with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Can influence key stakeholders and drive strategic change.
  • Work effectively with senior leadership team to manage change and development.
  • Monitor, manage and conduct analysis to ensure strategic business transformation is working effectively.
  • Be able to identify opportunities for business improvement.
