Job Description

As part of this highly successful, global organisation, the European business now requires a HR Specialist who will have full divisional administrative responsibility for the HR Learning Management System (LMS) whilst delivering rollout, learning and development initiatives across the European business.The Role:Reporting to the HR Business Partner, as the HR Specialist - Systems for the European business unit, the role will have responsibility for, but not limited to:

  • taking ownership of the current learning management system (LMS)
  • supporting with the launch of the replacement LMS and the HRIS roll-out
  • driving the enhanced usage and capability of the global LMS
  • monitoring engagement and completion rates for various training modules within the LMS environment
  • producing management reports as and when required
  • supporting with the roll-out of a new digital mentoring platform
  • supporting the senior European HR team in any ad-hoc projects as required
  • The Candidate:Ideally of graduate standard, candidates for the HR Specialist - Systems role will have preferably previously worked within a business or HR focused discipline.Candidates for the HR Specialist - Systems role will also preferably have achieved, or be working towards their further CIPD qualifications.It would be advantageous for candidates to have previously utilised HR information systems and/or have a keen interest in IT and technology as a support to the HR offering.In addition, candidates for the HR Specialist role will also be required to demonstrate that they have:
  • previous experience of administration reasonability within an LMS environment
  • experience of delivering virtual training
  • solid planning, project management and organisational skills, with close attention to detail
  • previously worked within a complex or multi-national organisation
  • excellent IT skills, being fully conversant with software packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • excellent communication skills with a strong commitment to success
  • the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
  • Candidates for the HR Specialist - Systems role should also be:
  • a pro-active, hands-on type individual, who demonstrates initiative and has a positive, professional attitude
  • a strong, customer focused individual with the presence and ability to communicate, motivate and influence at the highest level
  • capable of working as part of a team or under your own initiative to meet required targets and deadlines
  • European language skills would be a benefit but are not essential and candidates should note that there will be some travel throughout the European division with this role. Required skills
