Job Description

Fellows - AuctioneersPart-time - 22-25 hours over 3-5 days per weekBirmingham - Jewellery Quarter, B18 6JASalary - up to £50,000 FTEA new HR role in the business, dedicated to delivering and managing an overall HR strategy with an initial focus on Learning & Development, including creating and implementing graduate training programmes and reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures.Fellows is one of the fastest-growing independent auction houses in the UK and as HR Manager youll be supporting 60 staff based across 2 sites; one in Birminghams historic Jewellery Quarter where youll find most of the team, and Londons Mayfair whereyoull get to visit Ca. every 5/6 weeks.Reporting to the Board of Directors youll be providing your HR expertise and advice and putting into practice your experience across organisational processes, best practice HR procedures and staff-related activities such as employee relations and well-being,and performance and talent management.What youll needKnowledge of the Auction world is not required; however, as youll be interacting with all levels in and outside the business, excellent communication, verbal, and written skills are important to succeed in this role.Professional requirements

  • considerable experience in a similar generalist HR role
  • CIPD level 7 qualified
  • knowledge and understanding of current employment law
  • comfortable with using a variety of IT systems and online platforms
