Job Description

HR Business PartnerBirmingham£50,000 - £55,000A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused HR Business Partner with strategic, operational and transformational abilities to join a distribution/warehousing business.Following the recent appointment of a 2 new members of the Exec Team - UK Managing Director and HR Directorit has become apparent that a HRBP is required to be based from a site in south Birmingham to provide a truly generalist HR service, whilst overseeingthe activities of a site based HR Advisor, and supporting the strategic (and highly ambitious yet achievable) aspirations of the SLT (including significant growth).To be considered for this role you will be need to be a progressive thinker, particularly about how the HR function can gear up and support for growth. You will also need to be able to operate in a matrix structure coupled with the ability to implement global projects at a local level, as dictated by Head Office. You will offer support to the HR Director whilst being a point of escalation for a HR Advisor,and as such will be involved in some operational aspects as and when required. You will be happy working with a varied internal customer base with staff operating at various levels. Responsibilities will include (amongst others): Reviewing all policies, processes and procedures; Developing the HR service offering from being very transactional and reactive to adding value and proactive; Getting the HR structure correct to allow for business growth; Create a one team mentality Create a HR narrative that will allow people to buy in to it; Increase the maturity of the leadership team; Redesigning the employee lifecycle.
