Job Description

Our Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service acts as an extension of our clients recruitmentteam and provides professional interim solutions and temporary resources.Our client, Deutsche Bank, is a global banking business with strong roots in Germany and operations in over 70 countries. Their large but focused footprint gives them an established position in Europe plus a significant presence in the Americas and AsiaPacific. Deutsche Bank offer their clients commercial and investment banking, retail banking and transaction banking as well as ground-breaking asset and wealth management products and services.On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a HR Advisor to work in their UKI Business Advisory Centre team based in Birmingham on a PAYE basis for an initial 6 month contract.Overview:Working as part of the UKI Business Advisory Centre, you will interact with a broad spectrum of stakeholders and your allocated client group to provide HR advice and support on people issues, culture change and global processes such as the annual compensationcycle and talent management.Key responsibilities:

  • Partnering with the business and BPs, in implementing the HR People agenda initiatives
  • Advice to employees and managers on people topics and executing life cycle process tasks both effectively and efficiently
  • Project coordination related to diversity, retention, total performance, year-end compensation and manager briefings
  • Talent management and succession planning including preparing for and running talent reviews, succession planning support and advising the business in identifying employee skills/development gaps and career enhancing opportunities
  • Executing change initiatives in new organisational models, restructuring, near shoring and deliverables
  • Year-end compensation process, including reviews of fixed and variable pay audit checks, providing advice to the business and running spend analysis
  • Regional ad-hoc compensation decisions,such as; coordination and implementation of retention award sand off-cycle fixed pay increases
  • Annual Promotion process implementation via business lines including participating in promotion panels
  • Employee relations cases; including management of investigations, facilitating conversations with respect to conflict/dispute resolution and consequence management
  • Performance management cases, including advising managers and managing end to end process
  • Participating in business led diversity forums and providing advice to support the diversity strategy and initiatives of the business areas
  • Partnering with Managers, to review and approve global assignment and transfer requests
  • Supporting and executing against Deutsche Bank standard policies/processes
  • Ability to analyse data to provide insights and drive the right outcomes for the business
  • Utilise the Workforce metrics packs to create and deliver presentations on a range of HR topics (D&I, Talent, Development, Succession Planning etc)
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive HR Business Advisor experience
  • Experience in partnering with Management teams and across global matrix organisations
  • Experience in managing employee relations cases
  • Strong execution skill sand attention to detail
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Experience in managing complex restructuring initiatives and redundancy cases
  • Commercially astute
  • Delivery focused
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Strong process mindset and ability to prioritise and manage high volumes within a sometimes pressurised environment
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to understand and analyse large sets of data to support people initiatives
