Job Description

Optionis is the market-leading provider of accountancy, tax and umbrella employment solutions to contractors and small businesses within the UK. You will be joining a team of 450 staff, who represent highly successful brands such as Parasol, ClearSky, SJDAccountancy and Nixon Williams.Through our brands, we specialise in managing tax, employment, accountancy and legislative compliance for the UKs small businesses and contingent workforce - our solutions are market leading, and were always looking out for the best possible employees.The HR Administrator will complete a well-rounded role and will be responsible for providing administrative support to the wider HR team and producing monthly payroll data for the Finance team.Your main roles will include but are not limited to:Onboarding

  • Producing offer paperwork to new employees
  • Completing Right to work checks over Teams
  • Managing background screening through Experian
  • Requesting references
  • Work closely with IT to ensure all equipment is available on starting
HR Systems
  • Add new starters to the HR System
  • Regular audits of the System
  • Maintain and develop the HR System
  • Produce reports
Administration
  • Produce Weekly/ monthly reports
  • Produce changes to terms and conditions paperwork
  • Maintain organisation charts
  • Complete leavers process
  • Continuous development of processes
Payroll
  • Collate Absence data and review/ calculate deductions
  • Collate overtime timesheets
  • Review relevant monthly changes to salaries
Learning & Development
  • Manage Apprentices on the Government Portal
  • Update Apprenticeship Trackers
  • Confirm expenses for Professional Memberships
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Experience of working within HR and/ or Payroll
  • Strong IT Skills specifically in Excel and Word
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have a proactive attitude
  • Build strong relationships with internal/ external stakeholders
  • Prides themselves on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Relevant HR qualification (preferred but not essential)
