Job Description

Your World Healthcare is a leading specialist healthcare recruitment agency, placing a range of healthcare professionals including Non-Clinical and Clinical positions.

  • Are you an experienced Housekeeper/Cleaner
  • Have you worked as a Cleaner or Housekeeper within the NHS, Healthcare or Public Sector
  • Are you happy to work in a Hospital as a Cleaner within Covid-19 wards Please Note: Relevant PPE will be provided
  • Are you happy to register with Your World Healthcare and complete mandatory online training modules in order to begin employment successfully, as part of your application process (Required)
  • Do you have a current enhanced DBS dated in the last 12 months or a current DBS certificate registered on the update service with no cautions/convictions
  • If you do not hold a current valid DBS, will you be happy to apply for this as part of your application via Your World Healthcare (Please Note: A valid in-date clean DBS is required for you to commence employment successfully
  • Lastly, can you commence employment immediately once you are fully registered/compliant
    • Please Note:
  • Mandatory online training modules are required by the NHS and will need to fully completed by yourself via Your World Healthcare in order to commence employment successfully.
  • You will be required to register with Your World Healthcare and become fully compliant in order to commence employment successfully.
  • You will need to hold a clean valid-in date DBS to commence employment. If you do not yet hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last 12 months or a valid certification of a DBS registered with the update service - you will be required to apply for this as part of your application. This can be applied for via Your World Healthcare

  • 7am - 3pm
  • 8am - 1pm
  • 8am - 6pm
  • 12pm - 8pm
  • 4pm - 7pm
  • 4.30pm - 7.30pm
  • 6pm - 2am
  • 10pm - 6am
    • Please Note: Exact working hours will be confirmed prior to commencing employmentPay:
  • Monday- Friday Days - £9.77 paye inclusive of Holiday pay
  • Saturday/Nights - £12.73 paye inclusive of Holiday pay
  • Sunday/BH - £15.63 paye inclusive of Holiday pay
    • Band: 2Job purpose: To carry out housekeeping and cleaning duties for hospital staff accommodationKey Duties and Responsibilities:
  • All general housekeeping duties
  • Clean on call and locum rooms
  • Clean Doctor and staff accommodation
  • Remove rubbish
  • General cleaning of the Hospital rooms and bathrooms
  • Replenishing all required equipment and material
  • Replenishing paper hand towels, liquid soap and toilet paper daily
  • Emptying waste bins, etc. taking rubbish to the designated collection point
  • Ensuring cleaning equipment is kept clean and in good working order which is inspected on a regular basis
  • Ensuring correct, economical and safe use of materials and equipment
    • Please note: ***This role may involve working on COVID-19 Wards. The relevant PPE will be provided.***Our client will only accept successful candidates to commence employment who hold a full clean valid in-date DBS and have successfully completed mandatory online training. Required skills
