We are currently engaged in the search foran accomplished Head of Strategic Finance to take the helm of financial strategies, dive into M&A activities, orchestrate fundraising campaigns, and play a pivotal role in shaping exit processes.COMPANY:Search are proud to partner with a PE-backed Financial Services organisation in the Midlands. The organisation has already begun its expansion plans with 3 acquisitions in 4 months and therefore needs dedicated resource to continue this trajectory. The newlycreated Head of Strategic Finance position will team a lead role in the buy-side transactions and eventually support the CFO in the exit process.OPPORTUNITY:Our high-growth client seeks an exceptional Head of Strategic Finance to steer their financial landscape. This pivotal role presents a unique opportunity to navigate intricate financial strategies, drive M&A ventures, lead fundraising endeavours, and contributesignificantly to exit processes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive financial strategies that align with strategic business objectives.
  • Lead and oversee intricate M&A transactions to ensure seamless integration and strategic coherence.
  • Spearhead fundraising campaigns, harnessing financial expertise to secure resources for sustained growth.
  • Play a critical role in orchestrating exit processes, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal financial outcomes.
  • Mentor and guide a team of financial professionals, cultivating a high-performance environment.
CANDIDATE:The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A robust financial background with substantial senior-level experience within the financial services sector.
  • An Audit background from a Top 10 firm in addition to Corporate Finance or Transaction Services expertise.
  • A proven track record in strategic financial planning, navigating complex M&A transactions, and orchestrating successful fundraising initiatives.
  • Profound understanding of financial controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership and adept team management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
