Job Description

Head of Service Delivery and Infrastructure Birmingham or Watford with hybrid working availableAre you experienced in leading service delivery, security, and infrastructure teams or an IT operations functionIf so wed love to hear from you!As Head of Service Delivery and Infrastructure youll be accountable for the successful delivery of all IT Services across the Signet UK group. You will play a key role within our IT leadership and senior management team by ensuring all services meet pre-definedservice levels and quality criteria, which will strive to provide excellent service across all Signet colleagues.Managing a wider team of Analysts and Infrastructure Manager you will be accountable for the management of all live services, integration and infrastructure along with management of strategic partner relationships, which underpin our live services.This role can be based at either our Birmingham or Watford store support centre, but will require travel to both sites. Flexibility will also be available for home working 3 days per week.Key Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Provide thought leadership, contribute to the long term business plan and own the service and infrastructure roadmap.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business, shaping plans, managing expectations, and providing advice/guidance.
  • Ensure the provision of an effective yet pragmatic IT Security service.
  • Accountable for the Service desk (stores and head office) and 24/7 service monitoring and alerting, 24/7 application management, including break / fix to SLA, managing access, controls, documentation, knowledge, workarounds etc
  • Transforming service to a modern value generating function which enables the organisation whilst balancing risk.
About you:
  • Proven ability to successfully lead service delivery, security, and infrastructure teams and/or IT operations function.
  • Substantial evidence of successful IT service delivery embedded and relatable to business needs.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading IT infrastructure change.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills at senior levels.
  • Experience of financial management, planning and monitoring of both revenue and capital budgets.
  • Knowledge and understanding of related standards including GDPR and Technical Design standards.
  • Positive experience of dealing with resource and performance management issues.
  • Significant experience in implement security frameworks and managing the balance of risk vs. investment to deliver an appropriate security posture.
