Job Description

Here at CDSL, our aim is to be the first choice for home appliance after sales service, spare parts and accessories.With over fifty years of experience, we are the largest independent home appliance and spare parts distribution organisation within the UK working with a number of household brands including Whirlpool, Hotpoint, Hoover, Beko and Bosch to name a few!We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Product Data to join our ever expanding business.As Head of Product Data you will be responsible for maximising our customer journey through product model data and parts profiling.This role will include Product data management, encompassing website data structure, product model data and life-cycle management. A huge part of the role will be driving conversion and profitability by ensuring all model data is kept up to date, user navigation is clear and concise and product performance is reviewed and improved.

  • Developing best practices in data management and control
  • Maximising on-line customer experience through find-ability of parts
  • Optimising website folder structure to aid customer journey
  • Working with the Head of Buying to ensure plans are in place on the route supplies of model data
  • Ensuring product data is loaded timely and in line with the data prioritisation plan
  • Improving department efficiencies through the use of our RPA software technology
  • Ensuring simple navigation to all none model specific product ranges
  • Analysing the product performance of parts, recommending changes to improve and drive conversion
  • Managing Part Number Enquiries
  • Maintaining our image library
  • Managing new parts created, ensuring correct set-up and structure (COSHH, air unsafe etc)
  • Managing part life-cycles effectively
  • Analysing returns in relation to data errors
    • As Head of Product Data it’s important you have:
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines set
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • IT literate in appropriate Microsoft systems including advanced excel
  • Ability to manipulate large data sets, including experience of using SQL to manipulate data
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with ability to assimilate information
  • Highly organised with the ability to schedule your own and others workloads
  • Ability to work on projects independently and as part of a team
  • The ability to lead with speed
